This is awesome. I love the town and the way you characterised it as Valmir left. You described it wonderfully and I felt like I was literally hovering above Valmir as he was walking to the stable; but you also made it seem extremely mysterious, especially with the magistrate.
Valmir himself is a very intriguing character and I am really looking forward to seeing more of his escapades!
What a very interesting story Hanna. It sounds quite exciting! Love the funny ending, reminiscent of many funny stories I have encountered. I think you definitely have humor built into some of your stories. I love this!
This is another great evocative opening. You are going to have quite a lot of stuff on the go now, you know that, right? People will be demanding more from each of your settings. Mind you I'm a fine one to talk in that regard.
Whoops! I've made a lot of work for myself, it seems! I am treating this as the reward for finishing Oceanus. I have 15 or so more chapters to publish but it is mostly done.Thank you Evelyn, I am so glad you enjoyed it.
This felt really natural. Great opening! <3
Thank you, Sean. I'm really excited about this one.
Mystery in town and a nice twist at the end! This looks like a promising fantasy world.
Thank you, Bill! I have a lot more to write for this world but I really need to finish Oceanus first. Almost there.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment, Nicole. I'm looking forward to picking it up again soon.

I promise to make this as funny as possible all along. There will be horrors, battles and misadventures but we can all laugh our way through it 😂
I am all for it. I like your humor as well as @V Kelly-Sibley and now @E.B. Howard gosh, I am bristling with excitement.
This was really good. You have a good eye for detail and convey it well in your writing.
Thank you! This is going to be an epic tale, I hope 😁 Good luck with your book launch, David!
Great story! Will look forward to the rest when the time comes!
Thank you. I've outlined it but I'm not touching it til Oceanus is finished 😅 not long now.
Let's face it, I'm usually to blame. 🤪
Well, I'm grateful, anyway! Thanks Brian.

I like this one very much. More please.

HaHA! This is great! Can’t wait to learn more about Jessalyn. Valmir is in for an adventure!
Thank you, Liz. I can't wait to write about their adventures.
With a beginning and opening like this, I'm thoroughly hooked. Really liked this. - Jim
