I do love this kind of background and intro. One can't not read it now (not that I was ever not going to, but you know what I mean).

Thanks Evelyn. I know what you mean.

I've only been to England once, and spent most of that time (a month) in Liverpool. I loved it. Really excited about this, Hanna!

Really?? What a small world! What brought you to Liverpool? We normally watch and weep as everyone bypasses us for London. Thanks Sean, I'm really enjoying this one.

It's a long story that could make for a good non-fiction post. I told a band that I was going to be their roadie, but when we got to Liverpool I met a girl literally the moment I stepped off the bus, and then just stayed with her while the band moved on.

I can't believe that not only did you come to England once but you came to Liverpool 😄 that's amazing.

Hanna, I will be interested to read you Liverpool -set horror story. I don't write much horror, but whenever I do, I find my head becomes an interesting and dark place while I'm writing. I wonder if you feel the same. Good luck.

Thanks Sandy! I don't know 🤔 I think I can break from it easily. I'm usually more focused on horror that is entertaining but has a resolution. The woman in black stuck with me because there was no resolution.

I like Susan Hill's writing very much. You should try her other seminal work, "I'm the King of the Castlel," It's a psychological killer./Users/sandyshaller/Desktop/61Nq3POXCEL._AC_UF1000,1000_QL80_.jpg

I envy your deep roots in Liverpool. I’ve spent most of my life on the move - not TRAVEL, you understand, but just rootless nomadism due to circumstances. I have always thought I would be very happy to find a place to sink roots and stay there to bloom! I know that deep love and understanding of place will yield a rich novel, and I very much look forward to it.

Yeah, we had that but it was still within the same city. My parents were terrible with money... I hope it will. I can't believe how much I've overlooked it. What is everyday to me is actually interesting to others. I'm sure that's the case for everybody, no matter where they are in the world.
