Nice work, Hanna! Poor Gerwick.

Gerwick has definitely earned a spot in a future novel 😄 Thanks Brett.

Haha! Some great humour there. I've been doing some Posts like this myself. I think they work really well, and it's nice to build up a collection of these fun little stories rather than just leaving them to get lost on Notes... 😎

Thank you Chris 😄 Yes, your stories are worth publishing! I always forget that my subscribers (who are email only) won't see them unless I do posts like this!

Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying them. I have quite a few Subscribers who don't come on the site/app as well. People like to consume things in lots of different ways these days. So yes, putting a selection of them in Posts like this is a great way to give everyone a chance to see them... 😎

I have nothing against micro fiction but it’s usually just not my thing. That said, I always enjoy these roundups of yours, Hanna. Well done and keep at it

Sorry, was that "may there be many more!" ? 'Cause it sounded weird. 🤣

Yeah my brain just didn’t engage my mouth properly. Typical man really.

It's interesting how people are limited in the lengths of fiction they can and cannot write well. Surely there's freaks good at all sizes, but the differing difficulties are absorbing in nuance.

Perhaps it's time for a serial micro-fiction, an unholy combination of long and short.

Like with most things, if a pretentious air gets attached to it too frequently, people will react like a beaten dog, its quite understandable.

Bad micro-fiction logically stands out more too.

If the start of a book isn't awful, people can still delude themselves into appreciation of utter trash.

A few lines though?

Much easier to notice.

Not only all that, but given the writer has less to work with, the burden of writing is very unforgiving.

A book can get away with 'wasting time' or even having a stinker of a chapter.

Don't have that leeway with less.
