I feel like you decided all the other difficulties of the 3rd challenge weren't enough, and said, "I think I'll throw in a rhyming character, just to make it harder." Wise Owl was brilliant though, so I'd say it paid off. Even the line: "Sorry, I ran out of rhymes." - that made me chuckle. Great story.

Sam, this comment made me laugh out loud. "just to make it harder" hahaha why do I do this to myself? I don't know. It was fun and completely unexpected.

I did NOT expect it to go that way! Even having seen you'd just seen the Barbie movie...

Really, really good. I did choke up a bit there.

Thank you. Well, Barbie was definitely an inspiration 😂 I had so much trouble with this tale. Didn't know where to take it.

This is such a wild ride. So many pleasing twists and turns. That ending is a beautiful punch in the gut, bravo!

Thank you, Will. I wish I could write a story that wasn't a labyrinth.

I love a good labyrinth. Especially the ones where even the "dead ends" are delightful.

Now youre giving me ideas 🤔

This is splendid. Who could have imagined that the original 250-word story would take such a turn! Just like your last GWC story, Copycat, you have the talent to drive your readers into an unexpected direction and let them be satisfied more than they could imagine.

That is very kind of you to say, Hyun Woo. Thank you. It's been a pleasure being in this competition with you.

This was incredible! I was surprised by the twist in the original 250-word story, but then you threw in another twist with the liger version! This was hilarious, unexpected, and genuinely touching. I loved it!

Thank you Bridget. It could have been a mess because I didn't know what to do for the 250 word expansion.

Brilliantly written and it is so true that children use their toys to figure out the adult world, whether good or bad stuff is going on! Such a sweet story.

Thank you. I should do more happy endings-or at least, peaceful resolutions.

I love wise owl, but I am bias over owls at the moment, still what a cool setting. I definitely see the reference to a certain divorce. It is still a story that is sad in a way especially for the little girl coping through it all. I love how you managed to give a fresh perspective on the matter through the use of the toys. Great job Hannah

Thank you Ika. I'm glad to have no more competition stories now 🤗

Now you can focus on going wild again with no constraints. I still have to check your serial, I might have to mark it on my calendar haha

A creative story! That first blurb was hooking, and then the rest of the story supported that tidbit well!

Thank you. I had so much trouble deciding on a "bigger story" for this as it was open to a few different directions.

That was such an unexpected direction - great story! Loved the ending.
