What’s this all about?
A work of fiction is a publication by me, Hanna Delaney. I’m writing most days but publishing twice a week. Join me for flash fiction, short stories, essays, blog posts and of course, my serialized novels. I’m all about science fiction and fantasy but cannot resist a bit of weird, horror or downright silly.
I’m from Liverpool, UK. I have three kids, an awesome husband who encouraged me to do this and a dog who didn’t but she’s happy to see me trying to put food on the floor.
I studied English literature BA and MA at university and clearly couldn’t get enough as I went on to teach teenagers who didn’t really care that much about English but passion is contagious, or so they say (do they say that?). Years and years later here I am writing what I love during baby nap times or when my husband has found better things to do than spend time with me.
If you’d like to keep up to date with the latest from me, you can subscribe like most people.
If you’d like to do more than that, you may want to consider upgrading to paid and here’s why:
I write like no one’s reading but if I have backers and people directly supporting my work, I write with even more purpose than I thought I could. You make it possible for me to commit to writing if you support it.
You can access the entire archive of everything I’ve written. This is particularly handy when you are reading one of my novels.
We can talk in message threads. I am really interested to know what my readers like about my work and what they’d like to see next.
If you want to go even further and become a founder, not only will you have my appreciation and gratitude forever but you’re helping to make something happen. Any books that I ever publish will have your name in as a thank you. So far, that’s my amazing father in law, Michael Gough. Legend.
Throw a stone; make ripples. Don’t literally throw a stone at me but you get what I’m saying.
